Ella comenzó siendo corista de Wham! pero decidió probar suerte primero en el grupo "The Style Council" (donde conocería a su futuro marido Paul Weller) y más tarde en solitario.
"See The Day" es su único éxito, en 1985 llegó al #2 en el Reino Unido y hoy es mi elegida como "La Canción De La Semana".
