Si hace unos días era el gran Stevie Wonder el que cumplía años, hoy toca el turno a otro artista al que hemos visto crecer, de hecho algunos hemos crecido con él. Jordan Knight, el "frontman" mas destacado de los New Kids On The Block cumple 40 años.Los New Kids fueron toda una sensación a finales de los años 80. La versión blanca de los New Edition (otros cinco jóvenes también de Boston) llevados a lo mas alto por Maurice Starr, el mismo hombre que junto a los hermanos Knight y a 3 de sus amiguetes. Tras ellos vendrían Take That, East 17, Backstreet Boyz, 'NSync,...
El grupo se disolvió en 1994 tras varios problemas entre sus integrantes. Jordan decidió seguir en solitario y en 1998 sacó su primer álbum y tuvo un éxito en single con la canción "Give It to You", que es un temazo y que tiene un video molón con una coreografía espectacular (y Justin Timberlake se pensaba que había inventado algo...).

wow... ya 40? es un bebé aun xD, igual yo he sido una de quienes 'ha crecido con él', los New kids, "el Right Stuff" aquel que sólo poco(A)s tienen... y ahora me has hecho recordar esta canción.

A todo esto Jordan ha seguido sacando nuevo material? lo último que supe suyo fue hace un par de años con los nkotb a sus treintas.

Jordan ha estado haciendo música de forma mas o menos continuada desde que dejó el grupo en 1994. Tras su debut en 1999 repitió en el 2004 con un disco de versiones en solitario de los éxitos de los NKOTB.
Al año siguiente sacó un EP titulado "The Fix" y en 2006 un nuevo disco de versiones de temas famosos; esta vez de canciones de amor ("Love Songs").
Luego vino la reunión con el grupo con los que sacó nuevo disco; "The Block" (con una calidad mas que discutible) y se embarcó en una gira mundial con bastante mejor suerte que el álbum.
