INXS tuvo su mejor momento entre 1987 y 1988 con la salida de su álbum "Kick". Realmente impactó en las listas de medio mundo vendiendo más de 10 millones de copias y la mitad de su temas fueron editados en single.
Estaban comandados por Michael Hutchence y habían sido formados a finales de los años 70. En los primeros 80 se definían por un sonido de "new wave" que se fue transformando en algo más rockero y que llegó a su forma definitiva, más estilizada, con toques de funk y dance.
Este "New Sensation" lo habré bailado cientos de veces en mis salidas nocturnas y sigue sonando molón 27 años después.
