"The colour of my love" no fue el primer álbum en inglés de Celine Dion, pero si fue el que la pondría definitivamente en el camino para convertirla en una de las grandes Divas de la canción a finales de los años 90.
Fue editado en 1993 y contenía composiciones y producciones de gente como David Foster, Rick Wake o Walter Afanasief (que vivía sus mejores momentos como productor por su trabajo con Mariah Carey) y eso es mas o menos a lo que sonaba este disco. Pop pegajoso, baladas potentes y rock suave era mas que suficiente para, acompañado por una gran voz, vender discos como churros en un momento en el que la industria del disco estaba en su mejor momento y salían discos de multiplatino para todos los gustos y estilos.
"Think twice" fue un éxito a nivel mundial logrando el número 1 en medio mundo. Extrañamente en los Estados Unidos no tuvo una vida muy digna. Aún así es una de sus mejores canciones de siempre.
