La Canción De La Semana "RAINDROPS KEEP FALLING IN MY HEAD" B.J. Thomas

Ayer nos dejaba el 50% de uno de los tándems creativos más longevos y exitosos de la industria discográfica, el formado por el letrista Hal David y el compositor Burt Bacharach. David fallecía de un ataque al corazón a los 91 años dejando tras de si un legado de mas de 70 hits en una carrera que supera las cinco décadas.

Algunas de sus composiciones incluyen trabajos para Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, The Carpenters, Isaac Hayes o Dionne Warwick, que de alguna manera fue la musa del duo creador.

Otro de los que se benefició de su arte fue BJ Thomas que en 1970 logró el número 1 con "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head", perteneciente a la banda sonora de la película "Dos hombres y un destino" protagonizada por Robert Redford y Paul Newman. El tema ganó el Oscar a la mejor canción.
