La Canción De La Semana "IF YOU GO AWAY" NKOTB

Tras haber dominado durante 1990 y gran parte de 1991 las listas americanas, los New Kids On The Block se enfrentaron a principios de 1992 al duro golpe que suponen las críticas... y mas cuando están son malintencionadas. Un antiguo colaborador les acusó de no ser ellos los que cantaban en las canciones y como el mundo del disco estaba aún conmocionado por el engaño Milli Vanilli, les dejaron mas solo que la una.

Esos mismos días el grupo, renombrado a "NKOTB", editaba un single titulado "If you go away", que suponía un paso adelante en cuanto a madurez musical (cosa que quizás sus fans tampoco apreciarían demasiado). El tema compuesto por el gran letrista John Bettis (autor de temas para Carperters, Michael Jackson, Madonna o Whitney Houston) y producido por Walter Afanasief se colaba en el Top-20 americano amparado en la calidad que atesoraba.
