Peter Andre supo que quería ser cantante desde jovencito. Nacido en Gran Bretaña pero criado en Australia participó en varios programas de caza-talentos buscando su oportunidad y esta le llegó en forma de programa de televisión siendo un adolescente. Pero él lo que quería era cantar y mientras iba esculpiendo su "tableta de chocolate" a su vez iba componiendo canciones esperando su momento.Con 20 años se editaba su primer Lp; "Peter Andre" que tuvo una buena acogida en Australia, logrando varios singles de éxito, pero su música no consiguió salir a mercados más importantes.
Con 23 años editaba su álbum "Natural" y ahora si lograría la atención esperada; en el Reino Unido el álbum llegaría al primer puesto y vendería mas de 300.000 copias, gracias en gran parte al bombazo que pegaron 2 de sus temas: "Mysterious Girl" y "Flava".
Al año siguiente sacaría "Time" con varias colaboraciones importantes (Coolio, Warren G, Brian McKnight, Shaggy,...) aunque los resultados no llegarían a igualar los anteriormente logrados. A pesar de todo el disco contiene una balada que siempre me ha encantado; "Lonely" que es prácticamente una especie de homenaje de Peter Andre a Ralph Tresvant (cantante de New Edition) imitando a su vez a Michael Jackson.
