La Canción De La Semana "TELL IT LIKE IT IS" Aaron Neville

De la canción que esta semana he elegido poco mas se puede decir salvo que es una auténtica joya. Fue el primer single lanzado a nivel nacional de un joven Aaron Neville a los 25 años. Él, a pesar de ser un desconocido, tuvo un impacto tremendo en las listas americanas alcanzando el número 2 en la lista pop y el 1 en la de r&b. Era el año 1967.

Su carrera en solitario no tuvo la repercusión esperada y decidió probar suerte formando un grupo con sus hermanos (Neville Brothers), que han sido importantes en el sur de los Estados Unidos, siempre ligados a la música soul, blues y jazz, si olvidar sus influencias como americanos nativos.

Prácticamente tuvieron que pasar dos décadas para que volviera a tener un gran éxito en las listas y lo logró junto a la cantante country Linda Ronstadt con la que grabó varios dúos en 1989.

Pero sin duda pasará a la historia por esta mágica interpretación.
