Esta semana toca temazo, como casi de costumbre, jeje. "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off" de Jermaine Stewart.Este chico comenzó siendo bailarín del programa "Soul Train", luego formó parte también como bailarín y corista de la banda Shamalar, en los primeros años 80. Se fue creando una buena reputación como corista y participó en discos de Culture Club. Fueron precisamente estos los que le ayudaron a conseguir un contrato como artista solista para el sello Arista.
En los primeros 80 todas las compañías buscaban a artistas con cierto parecido con Michael Jackson; cantantes que bailaban y tenían "looks" llamativos. Jermaine editó su primer álbum en 1984 y tuvo un relativo éxito con el single "The Word Is Out".
En 1986 sacaba "Frantic Romantic" encabezado por su canción mas conocida, que le llevó a lograr un Top 5 en la lista americana de pop y vender mas de 1 millón de copias.
Stewart grabó un par de álbumes mas pero no volvió a repetir logros. Finalmente falleció en 1997 a los 39 años a causa de un cáncer derivado de haber contraído el SIDA.
