A mediados de los 90 el buen r&b estaba dando sus últimos coletazos. Salvo algunos pocos artistas que seguían en lo suyo y ese renacer que tuvo poco después con el "Neo Soul", en las listas cada vez tenía una menor presencia, "gracias" en parte por esos raperos malotes que dejaban de decir cosas interesantes y que atraían principalmente a un público blanco.Pero aún salieron algunas cosas buenas y una de ellas es este tema que hoy he escogido; "In My Bed". Dru Hill era un grupo de Maryland que llevaba algunos años buscando su oportunidad y esta vino en 1996 con su primer álbum "Enter The Dru". En él además de esta canción, tenían otras 3 o 4 que acabaron siendo singles y logrando posiciones muy altas en Billboard.
"In My Bed", es un tema de soul moderno que trata sobre las infidelidades en una pareja. El video está muy logrado al ir imaginándose el cantante (el curioso Sisqo) que su chica se la pega con los demás miembros del grupo hasta que finalmente... echad un vistazo, hombre!
