"Huey Lewis & The News" es un grupo californiano nacido a mediados de los 70. Tuvieron su mejor momento en los años 80 logrando un montón de singles de éxito y un par de álbumes multiplatino. Su sonido combina el rock suave con coros "doo-woop" y toques soul y estribillos que te enganchan a la primera. Daban la sensación de ser una banda de bar, siempre con buen humor y con un líder que realmente podía cantar.Podría haber elegido cualquier tema entre sus singles; "The power of love", "Hip to be square", "But it's all right", "I want a new drug", "Jacob's Ladder", "The heart of rock & roll",... pero finalmente me quedo con la genial "Stuck with you" (de la que pongo 2 versiones; la original y una en directo demostrando como Lewis cantaba igual en directo).

¡Me encanta! Para mí ha sido una de las canciones de este verano. Me recuerda a las vacaciones, en el Delta de l'Ebre... salía mucho en Onda melodía y luego la llevábamos en el coche, y la cantábamos mientras íbamos por aquellos caminos desiertos, con el sol, la playa y los arrozales... —dijo la Betty mientras se le caía una lagrimilla de nostalgia... Jajaja!
No quedan días de verano... que cantaban Amaral, pero si recuerdos (y buenos por lo que puedo ver) unidos a ciertas canciones.
Que importante es la música.
