Jason Derulo forma parte de ese grupo de cantantes que -intentan- practicar ese género musical que es "el Michael Jackson". Él, Chris Brown, Usher, Justin Timberlake, The Weekend y prácticamente el 80% de los cantantes restantes tratan de ocupar el enorme vacío dejado por "El rey del pop".
Se trata de cantantes de voz justita pero que bailan muy bien. Algunos también componen e incluso los hay que se atreven a tocar instrumentos pero lo más destacable es siempre el aspecto visual.
Ayer me lleve una sorpresa al ver el nuevo video de Derulo o más bien al escuchar el nuevo single "Kiss The Sky"; se trata de un tema alegre de funky que te hacer querer moverte y eso ya es bastante en la música negra. No es raro que lo destacable de artistas actuales tenga mucho de retro. Aquí las influencias son de Sly & The Familiy Stone claramente.
