En 1977 Billy Joel editaba su quinto álbum y lograba por fin establecerse como artista de éxito gracias a los más de 10 millones de discos vendidos sólo en los Estados Unidos. "Just The Way You Are" fue el single de presentación, ganó los Grammy's a la mejor canción y disco del año de 1977.

Es una preciosa balada de como superar los baches en una relación y contiene toques de r&b con esas notas de piano eléctrico y ese fabuloso saxo tocado por Phil Woods.
