Van Morrison, cantante, compositor y multi-instrumentista nacido en Belfast y que lleva en el mundo de la música desde que era un pre-adolescente y su padre le regaló una guitarra al ver el interés que su hijo tenía por la música... y especialmente por la música soul americana.
Desde entonces el joven Morrison se embarcó en una serie de bandas y grupos pillando cada vez mas experiencia y cambiando de instrumentos (de guitarra a saxo tenor) y finalmente ser compositor y voz.
En 1967 comienza su carrera en solitario. Su música es rica en influencias y él mismamente lo ha sido para infinidad de artistas (sobre todo británicos e irlandeses). Dicen que es un tío muy borde y muy estúpido pero ¿que mas da cuando haces canciones como esta?
