Uno de los mas aclamados cantantes del "Neo-soul" es Michael D'Angelo Archer, mas conocido simplemente como D'Angelo. Comenzó su carrera a mediados de los años 90, apareciendo en la canción "U Will Know" (de la película Jason's Lyric) cantada junto a un montón de artistas masculinos de R&b bajo el nombre de "Black Men United".Meses después aparecía su álbum de debut "Brown Sugar", que tuvo una acogida lenta pero que finalmente alcanzaría ventas de doble platino en los Estados Unidos.
Luego tendrían que pasar casi 5 años para volver a escuchar su música. En 1999 sacaba a la venta "Voodoo" que debutaba en el primer puesto de ventas.
"Untitled (How Does It Feel)" es uno de los singles extraídos de ese álbum, y además se trata de una colaboración con Raphael Saadiq (uno de mis favoritos). El vídeo causó bastante expectación (sobre todo entre el público femenino) y se rumoreo que mientras se grababa una chica fuera de cámara le estaba haciendo un trabajito que bla bla bla... jeje.
