Ayer, 14 de mayo, se cumplieron 10 años desde que Francis Albert Sinatra nos dejara. "La voz" como era conocido desde muchisimo tiempo atrás. Es increíble escucharle y tener esa sensación de que cantaba con total facilidad, que no le costaba nada llegar a los tonos y es siempre un placer volver a recordarlo puesto que fue uno de los mas grandes iconos musicales que han existido jamas.
Esta mañana, mientras salia del trabajo, recordé donde estaba hoy hace 10 años. Era viernes y estaba en el Maremagnum (en sus buenos tiempos) con un grupo de amigos. Habíamos estado bailando tooooda la noche y al acabar, cerca de las 7 de la mañana, el "Dj" pincho "New York, New York". La gente se quedo un poco parada aunque pensaría que para terminar la noche era típico poner una canción lenta, para que se fuera vaciando el local. Quizás pocos sabían que Frank había fallecido el día anterior y que simplemente fue un modo de rendirle homenaje.

Lo cierto es que no tengo el gusto de conocer en exceso la obra del amigo Frank, sin embargo, las 4 canciones que conozco de él me parecen expectaculares...

Pues os recomiendo "It Was A Very Good Year". Me parece una cancion insuperable, ademas de que suena nostalgica a mas no poder.
Escuchare ese "That's Life" de Los Rodriguez.
