Corría el año 1989 y Quincy Jones en su disco "Back On The Block" presentaba al mundo un nuevo talento; un chavalin que aun no había cumplido los 13 años y le hacia debutar con la magnífica "Tomorrow (A Better Me, A Better You)". Su nombre Tevin Campbell.
Al año siguiente aparecía en la pseudo película de Prince "Graffiti Bridge" donde incluso cantaba una composición del genio de Minneapolis "Round And Round". También aparecía uno de sus temas ("Just Ask Me To") en la exitosa película "Los Chicos Del Barrio" del director John Singleton.
En 1991 Tevin ya tenia disco propio y se cumplian las espectativas referentes a su talento como vocalista. Se le empezó a llamar el nuevo Michael Jackson (el single "Tell Me What You Want Me To Do" es buena prueba de ello) y en su álbum volvía a contar con Quincy Jones como productor.
Gran disco de debut con buenos temas r&b, melódicos, bailables y sumamente bien cantados. También incluía baladas y una de ellas es precisamente la que destaco esta semana; "One Song".
El vídeo de la canción se grabo integramente en Barcelona (aparece La Sagrada Familia, el parque Güell, el Estadio Olímpico o la fuente de La Ciudadela entre otros lugares) y fue incluida en el álbum "Barcelona Gold", commemorando las olimpiadas de ese mágico verano de 1992.
